Cryptocurrency kiosks, also called crypto ATMS or BTMs, are all over Wisconsin, and scammers are using them to steal millions of dollars.
We know how impactful $1,000 can be. This is our way of extending some seed money to get these projects off the ground. Next deadline: September 27, 2025.

Scammers will use any reason to try to steal your personal information and pick your pocket. That’s why we are highlighting the “12 scams of Christmas”.
We invite all of you to join our team of AARP-Wisconsin red-shirted volunteer advocates at one or more of the state’s four public hearings on Governor Evers’ proposed 2025-27 State Budget on four dates in April. The hearings, hosted by the state’s Joint Committee on Finance, will be held in Kaukauna, West Allis, Hayward and Wausau (dates, times, locations listed below).

Have you gotten a text recently claiming that you have unpaid tolls? The FBI reports this scam started picking up steam last spring and has exploded in recent months, across Wisconsin and the rest of the nation.
No ever gets exactly what they ask for in a state budget, but the biennial spending plan outlined by the governor in his state budget address on Feb. 18 comes pretty close. Now comes the hard part - fighting to keep these priority issues top of mind among all state lawmakers as the arduous budget-creation process moves forward.

Since it was first declared a federal holiday in 1983, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day has honored the life and legacy of Dr. King and inspired people to give back through public service.

These grants fund quick-action projects that help communities become more livable by improving public places, transportation, housing, digital connections, and more.
