At AARP Wisconsin, our goal is to help all Wisconsinites live their best lives as they age. July 16, 2021 - Wisconsin has an abundance of natural beauty. With nearly 61,000 acres of State Parks, along with miles and miles of walking trails and parks across the state, there are plenty of options for Wisconsinites to get outside and stay active while staying safe.
AARP Wisconsin volunteer advocates are still making their voices heard during the pandemic by reaching out to lawmakers the old-fashioned way, through calls, letters and emails.
A proposal by Shawano Pathways to create two new walking trails in Shawano County has been selected to receive an AARP Wisconsin “Small Dollar, Big Impact” grant.
