At AARP Wisconsin, our goal is to help all Wisconsinites live their best lives as they age. Whether that means financial security or protection from the latest scams or working in local communities to make them safer and more accessible for all their residents, we will continue to work with lawmakers at all levels to help you live with dignity and purpose.
We know how impactful $1,000 can be. This is our way of extending some seed money to get these projects off the ground. Next deadline: September 27, 2025.

We are thrilled to announce that a proposal submitted by the Village of Greendale Health Department to fund activities at two upcoming public crafting sessions and a third session at a senior living facility in Greendale has received an AARP Wisconsin “Small Dollar, Big Impact” grant.
Last month we welcomed the City of Wauwatosa into the AARP Age-Friendly Network, which is the seventh municipality in Wisconsin to earn the designation, joining Sheboygan, Greendale, Shorewood, La Crosse, Madison, and Oshkosh.
Wisconsin’s nearly 600,000 unpaid family caregivers – a group that we refer to as the state’s unsung heroes for giving up so much of their own time and money to help loved ones remain in their own homes as long as possible – will receive much-needed support if state legislators get behind the governor’s plan to create a $500 family caregiver tax credit.
AARP Wisconsin is seeking volunteers to support its nonpartisan election outreach efforts around issues important to older adults and voter turnout.
